Produce before decoration
The board is built with whatever is good that week. If a cheese does not arrive at the point we want, it gets swapped; it does not get disguised with styling.
Who we are
Picoteos & Comidas grew out of a family habit: always make extra, so nobody leaves the table early.
It started by cooking for the celebrations of people we knew, with boards assembled in a home kitchen and delivered the same day. The first time someone asked "how much do you charge for this?" there was still no name and no price; there was a way of building the table that people recognised.
Over time that way became a method: fixed suppliers, calculated portions, styling that looks complete from the first minute. Today we serve family celebrations, weddings and corporate events across Santiago and surrounding districts, with the same standard we started with.
Salu-salo is the Filipino word for that shared meal where the dish is the excuse and the gathering is the point. We adopted it because it describes exactly what we are after: a table that invites a second helping and keeps the conversation going.
That is why we do not sell closed individual portions. Our whole catalogue is built for the centre of the table: boards to share, buffets that circulate, dessert tables that open at the end.

How we work
They explain why we quote through conversation instead of a fixed per-person rate.
The board is built with whatever is good that week. If a cheese does not arrive at the point we want, it gets swapped; it does not get disguised with styling.
We calculate portions so the table still looks abundant three hours in, not only in the opening photo.
We confirm availability, setup window and access before closing the date. What is agreed is what arrives.
What they say
The board arrived styled, on time, and looked exactly like the photos. All I had to worry about was opening the door.
We arranged a cocktail for forty people with two weeks' notice and the setup was ready before the agreed time. The team worked completely on its own.
